Our Story
Hart to Harts started with a dream in 2017. We are so excited to be opening our space in 2025!
2017
Hart to Harts started when Audrey designed a box of conversation cards that encouraged people to skip the small talk with deep questions! She crowdfunded with friends & family to order 500 boxes of cards!
2018
She hosted her first meaningful conversation event in Boulder, CO with people who found a posting on MeetUp.com. She hosted 20+ events throughout Colorado.
2019
Audrey moved back to her hometown of Seattle - where she started Hart to Harts here! She hosted 80 events with 1,500 people attending at coffee shops, breweries and rented venues.
2020/2021
The pandemic hit, so Hart to Harts stopped in-person events and started a podcast recording people’s stories. We recorded 100+ stories on tons of topics!
Also, Audrey went back to graduate school to become a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist!
2022 - 2024
Hart to Harts started back up in 2022 with little pop-up events! We tried a lot of different formats, rented venues, and conversation topics. It was so heart-warming to see the community come back after a two year break - people craved meaningful conversations more than ever!
2025
Audrey decided to take the full leap into renting a space for meaningful conversations! Owning a space has been a dream of Audrey’s since 2018 when Hart to Harts was founded. We cannot wait to welcome people into our cozy, comfortable space!
The new space will open the first week of April, 2025!
About Audrey Hart
Audrey Hart is from Seattle, WA! She attended Bowdoin College in Maine where she studied geology. She worked in the outdoors as an educator for a few years before working as a guide in wilderness therapy.
Audrey followed that passion into graduate school where she earned Master’s in Marriage & Family Therapy (LMFTA) with an emphasis in Sex Therapy. She runs a private practice (AudreyHartTherapy.com) in Seattle seeing couples.
If Audrey is not working on Hart to Harts or being a therapist, then she’s probably hanging out with her dog, backpacking in the PNW, jumping in the ocean, binging storytelling podcasts, and doodling at coffee shops!
